Personalized Dinner Menus

Most reception halls nowadays offer menus to their guests. As much as I love all things about our hall, I'm not crazy about their menus. So I decided to tackle them myself.

We got the cream linen 8.5x11 stock at Staples and the chocolate 12x12 stock at The Paper Mill Store. We bought the ribbon, corner punch and rhinestones from Michael's.

I set the page size of MS Publisher (you can use Word) to 4.25x11 and printed 2 up on a page of the linen stock. I cut them in half and trimmed them down to 4 inches because it was cleaner. (The first paper cutter was horrible)

Tom and I cut the brown stock to 4.5x11.5 so there was 1/4" bigger on all sides. Tom corner punched them all. I measured all the ribbon into 12" inch strips and Tom cut them down into 6" strips.

While at my mom's for a visit, I hot glued the rhinestone on to the ribbon & linen paper at the same time at the 2" mark. I wrapped the excess around the block and rubber cemented the linen stock to the brown stock. You can use double sided tape too but the rubber cement gives you a little more room to adjust the paper before it sets.
