Sweetheart Table Letters

More and more you are seeing "we do" letters in front of the cake. I have always thought they were cute but the "we do" always seemed a bit weird to me. Add to that the idea of paying a lot of money for these letters that you are NEVER going to use again seemed odd to me too.

So as much as I liked them I need to change it up and refrain from paying too much!

Michael's to the rescue.

We brought wooden letters from Michael's to spell "Mr", "Mrs" and a heart. We also got a wood plank.


I proceeded to paint the letters, heart and plank brown with gold side accent.


I mounted the letters and heart on the plank with hot glue.
