Well, we are all moved in and for the past two weeks we've been setting up the apartment, in between working and all our "social obligations". Packing isn't fun, but unpacking is so much worse. Me being me, I put something somewhere and a day later move it. Let's take my clothes for example. First I put all my things in the large hallway closet, but after a week moved all of Tom's things in there and took his closet. I've re-organized the bathroom about 4 times, my drawers 3 times and the bookcase twice. So its definitely a work in progress, but it's a labor of love.

After a few trips to Ikea, Bob's Furniture and Target the living room is almost complete and the kitchen is done. In the next few months we'll be getting a new sectional sofa, repairing and refinishing my grandpa's table and actually decorating (pictures, etc.).

The rest of the apartment, however, aren't so pretty. Our bedroom has all mix-n-match furniture from my apartment and Tom's room in his parents house. We've decided our Christmas and anniversary gifts to one another this year will be our bedroom set. So, I'm very excited about that. In the spare room/office has most of Tom's things: desk, bed, filing cabinet. Basically, this area has become a "catch all" for everything that doesn't have an official home yet: shades, globe, VCR, etc. We haven't put the hallway rug done yet, because I'm having second thoughts about it, so it too is rolled up in the spare room.
Housewarming parties are being planned... so stay tuned! lol
