Try # 3... lol

Ok. so yesterday after I posted I realized I forgot to mention the events of Monday. However, Blogger was been fickle and wouldnt let me save or publish. Therefore -- here I am for try #3.

Monday we went into the city for a slow, relaxing day. Very unNYC. LOL. We had lunch at Unos. Walked down to St. Mark's Pl to find this little hole-in-the-way game store so Tom could buy a few retro NES games. Thats right going "old skool."

We strolled up to Boardway and over to the San Genaro feast with a few pitstops along the way. We bought a stunning B&W photo of the NY skyline with the Twin Towers. And of course as soon as he spotted the aerial shot of Shea Stadium picture, he had to have it too.

I took refuge in what else - the stores! One place, YellowRatBastard caught me eye for more than just the name. They had the retro tees I love. The one I fell in love with - Pebbles Flintstone. It was sooooo cute. My size and everything.

San Genaro was soo yummy. We had such a late lunch that we had to pass on the real food - I know, I know.. its a sin... however we were able to take advantage of the amazing pastries available. We sat in the mock cafe that Il Palazzo set up in the street, had lemonade and very tasty treats.

It was a very nice day, but tiring for both of us. We came home and rested before RAW started. Teehee!!
