Remind: Cake Smash

Ever since Joey was born I knew I wanted to do "cake smash" pictures.  A friend of mine from high school, Melissa Murphy is a freelance photographer so we've used her services in the past for Joseph.  She took newborn photos, 6-month photos and his Christmas photos.  She is very talented and very good with Joey.

We actually did the shoot on New Year's Eve, 1/31/10.  I knew I didn't want him to be just in a diaper for the photos, so we dressed him in a plain white onesie for the actual cake smashing part.  We wanted him to get comfortable first so she took a few shots of him dressed and just hanging out.  They came out adorable.
