I’m a self-proclaimed computer geek, so originally I was just going to register online. However, that changed on a trip to Babies R Us, of all places. Tom and I were buying a gift card for a former co-worker of his who was just blessed with a baby girl, when he said “I can’t wait to come here and register.” Shocked, I replied “can we get the wedding done first!” He replied “No.. Not that, not yet. I just want to use the registry gun.” So I laughed and asked if he wanted to add stuff to the registry at the store. He was content with that!
The following day with Natalie, we went to Bed, Bath & Beyond and registered, in house. He was a “zapping fool” for about 30-40 minutes. Two days later, we went back because he felt “short changed and rushed” and spent another 30 minutes. I let him zap everything he wanted and later on I went online and “fixed” some of his choices. TeeHee.
I did our other two registries online at Crate & Barrel and Fortunoff, but he is now itching to go to them as well! He’s addicted to the gun! Surprisingly though, he later exclaimed “I still can’t wait to register for all the baby stuff.” One thing about Tom—you never know what he’ll say next!
