Wedding Stuff

Wait... its not what you think. Not MY wedding stuff.

As many know I'm creating a wedding planning course. After months of research, etc. its that time where I'm putting it all together so it can hit the shelves by Valentine's Day.

So here I am working on my workbook and I gotta say: I'm tired! Its one thing to be engrossed in this topic when you are actually planning your own day, but this is murder! lol

**start tangent here**

I mean listen, I could BS that I'm not ready for that part of my life to begin, but thats all it will be BS. The thought of it was something I dreaded pre-Tom. But at this point its "can we get it over with already!" lol

Its a neverending cycle though. When you are single you get "when are you going to date someone." When you date someone you get "when are you going to get married." When you get married you get "when are you going to have kids." Then the cycle starts on them!! lol.

As much as I'm ready for it and want to shut people up, its not something I want to rush or do simply to silence others. This is something I intend on doing only ONCE so I think it'll be worth the wait.

Now, I have an additional issue as far as having kids in concerned, so for that aspect, sure I'd love to start trying ASAP, but that's not a reason either.

** end tangent here **

As I sit here and create this "how to" for brides to plan their wedding days with ease, it occurs to me - I soooooooooooo don't want the hoopla. I mean, dont get me wrong... I want the traditions, ceremony in a CHURCH, and proper ettiquette followed at all times (you know me!!! lol) but I'd be the girl who gets married with shorts on under my dress. (FHA graduation anyone! lol)
I want the circumstance with a lil less pomp. lol.

With the exception of the ceremony which is BY far the most important thing to me, the rest is just icy. I mean for Heaven's sake, I got all excited at the prospect at having a reception at Shea Stadium! lol. And YES, Mr & Mrs. Met WILL be there!

Anyhow.. I needed a break to vent... back to work.

tootles!
