Week in Review... we miss you Nat!

*waves* hiya friends.... I know I've been MIA... Sorry.

Last Thursday Thomas' grandfather passed away. So its been a long, emotional week. Never mind the fact, the first day of the week was the same day as the blizzard that hit the east coast. Tom's grandpa, Nat, was very nice to me. Reminded me alot of my own grandparents, so whenever we would visit him I actually enjoyed listening to him talk about all the trips he and his late wife went on. I found him amusing and kinda funny. As usual, I didn't cry yesterday the day of the funeral, but my priority was of course Thomas and his family. Stephen gave an moving eulogy. Even someone like me who only got to know him for a year was left crying. After the mass as we were walking out of the church, Tom and I grabbed a hold of Natalie (his sister) and just held her for a bit because she was in tears. Dana was also having a hard time because she recently lost her grandma as well. I think all around this week was difficult. Poor Stephen... his birthday was the same day we buried his grandpa, with whom he was very close.

On a different note, I started to feel a little better and as usual I pushed myself too much so now I'm feeling it a little bit. I got to reschedule my pain clinic appointment, so now I go on Feb. 14th. Speaking of Valentine's Day, Tom has his EMT refresher course on Monday night, so we cant actually go out that day. However, my smart cookie of a boyfriend has decided to go to La Dolce Vita (my favorite restuarant) on Saturday night instead. Plus the following weekend we are planning on going to Medieval Times with friends so thats something else.

And the trend continued another year, making it 7 years in a row... I managed to LOSE weight over the holidays! It never fails!
